MBSR Fundamentals

A residential intensive professional MBSR teacher training.
The Fundamentals course, (SR-401-9D) is designed for MBSR teacher trainees who live at a significant distance from an 8-week MBSR training site, or who are unable to obtain leave from their jobs and other responsibilities to attend the weekly MBSR Fundamentals format (SR-401-8W). This intensive residential training is based on the 8-week MBSR curriculum. In this program students participate in an intensive, highly experiential professional training to facilitate further integration of the Mindfulness Tools Program™ through instruction, investigation and dialogue with teachers and other Practicum participants. 

Teacher bios:

Florence Meleo-Meyer is Director of the Train-the-Trainer program of the Oasis Institute for Mindfulness-Based Professional Education and Training, and a senior MBSR teacher. She has taught meditation for over 30 years. She is certified as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher as well as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher. She has studied in India and the US with meditation masters, S.Muktananda and S.Chidvilasananda. Since 2003, she has studied Insight Dialogue, trained and taught with Gregory Kramer. She holds degrees in education and psychotherapy and is a licensed family therapist. She has trained and taught with Saki Santorelli, EdD and Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD.

Rob Smith is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program Instructor.
