Over the last year, The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Bourgeault has worked extensively on understanding the common good and its role in civil society in the United States. We will discuss her conception of the common good, its importance within the fabric of our communities, and how each of us can act towards it.

This is the last of our Pathways to Planetary Health (PPH) Forum Spring 2022 series and focuses on our final pathway, the Common Good. The Common Good is the underlying alignment that we find – a sense of shared trust and altruism – in a functioning society from which actions supporting planetary health grow. The Common Good is one necessary component of planetary health, but not singularly sufficient. Learn about all four pathways and other PPH events here.

This live webinar will be conducted on Zoom at 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday May 25, 2022. The webinar link will be emailed to participants within twenty-four hours of registration. Please email us at events@garrisoninstitute.org with questions.
